Orzechowo – a ghost village and St. John the Baptist Church
It is all in vain to look for Orzechowo on the maps of Poland. Orzechowo is just a ghost-village. It exists and does not exist at the same time. It was intended to be erased from maps. It was intended that no track will ever lead to it. The village was meant to be a forbidden area. Anyway the history turned out other way.
While visiting the village, is worth to pay special attention to the St. John the Baptist church, built in the woods at the beginning of 20th century.
